β€’ This role is to provide support to the Field Operations Manager and Area Managers for all operational matters relating to the Subsidence Field Teams. 

β€’ This role will also be responsible for excellent service provision, cost control and overall management of people, training and development within the identified area.

Responsibilities

β€’ To provide guidance and support to employees, enabling them to maximise their potential in meeting a variety of demands. 

β€’ To deliver excellence against the key measures of reduced duration, cost control and customer satisfaction.

β€’ To act as a subsidence champion and technical referral point across the field. To coach, inspire and develop technical excellence.

β€’ To assist Managers in identifying and proactively addressing employee issues, such as performance and day to day needs to ensure highest levels of service delivery resulting in excellent customer satisfaction.

β€’ To actively spend the majority of their time β€˜in the work’ with the Subsidence Consultants; to effectively troubleshoot and take proactive action to β€˜fix’ the system; remove blockages and waste.

β€’ To keep technical skills and knowledge up to date and in busy times undertake a small caseload to remain akin to live issues. 

β€’ To work collaboratively with the Subsidence Units, Supply Chain, and other internal teams; to identify opportunities for improving the End to End claims process and achieve highest levels of customer satisfaction.

β€’ To assist Managers to identify and monitor employee development needs and to ensure the delivery of appropriate learning programmes with suitable methods; to build business, interpersonal and technical competence.

β€’ To develop, manage and maintain relations with internal and external parties to ensure customer demands are met fully.

β€’ To engage with clients, brokers and key stakeholders in order to maintain business and to attract new business opportunities.

β€’ To promote the Company ethics and values, focus on what matters to the customer and promote clients insurance brands

Qualifications

β€’ The role maybe Home or Office Based
β€’ The role will encompass Subsidence Field Operations nationwide.
β€’ The role will require regular UK travel, and occasional overnight stays - however more frequent travel and regular overnight stays may be required during peak demand

β€’ Understands that better decisions come from empowering employees to have freedom in the design of work.

β€’ Chartered Building Professional – MRICS/MCIOB/CEng or equivalent essential.
β€’ Chartered Insurance Professional or commitment to achieve relevant Insurance Qualification.
β€’ Experience of team management – will ideally have experience of managing remote workers.

β€’ Detailed knowledge of Building Construction.
β€’ Detailed knowledge of Insurance Principles
β€’ Demonstrates technical competence.
β€’ Detailed understanding of Client requirements.
β€’ Understanding of people management
β€’ Understanding of budgetary management
β€’ Understanding of resourcing planning requirements in a dynamic environment.

β€’ Credible leadership skills to motivate team members; address people issues and create a high performing team culture.
β€’ Good technical skills and problem solving ability to recognise difficulties and take proactive measures to overcome problems.
β€’ Well developed and effective written and verbal communication skills, to articulate complex issues.
β€’ Strong organisation and time management skills; to deliver on a variety of actions within budget and to tight timescales.
β€’ Good dispute resolution handling skills to manage disputes effectively and proactively.
β€’ Strong financial literacy skills to analyse and interpret numerical data.
β€’ Strong computer literacy skills to make effective use of a variety of ICT platforms and applications.
