- Provide over the phone and video remote consecutive interpretation services in a variety of settings, including medical, emergency, legal, social, and customer service environments.
- Accurately and effectively convey messages between speakers of Armenian and English.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Research and prepare to ensure a thorough understanding.
- Remain culturally sensitive and aware.
- Be punctual, professional, and reliable.
- Familiarize yourself with our company policies and procedures.
- Requirements:
- Excellent bilingual communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful or emotional situations in a professional manner.
- Outstanding listening, retention and note-taking skills.
- Previous Interpretation experience is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with medical, legal, and business terminology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Proficient understanding of cultural sensitivity, and ability to collaborate with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
