I’m looking for a high-level SEO specialist to improve organic performance for a local service business (biohazard / trauma cleanup).
This is NOT about generating generic traffic.
The goal is to rank for high-intent service keywords and generate leads.
What success looks like
Improved rankings for:
biohazard cleanup
death cleanup
crime scene cleanup
Increased non-branded organic traffic
More qualified inbound leads from organic search
Clear separation of GBP vs organic performance
Current situation
~1,700 monthly visits (plateauing)
GBP performance strong, organic less clear
Reporting blends GBP + organic (needs separation)
No clear movement on core service keywords
Responsibilities
Target high-intent service keywords (NOT blog fluff)
Build/optimize service + location pages
Improve traditional SERP rankings
Develop authority (backlinks, not spam)
Clearly separate:
GBP vs organic
branded vs non-branded traffic
What I do NOT want
generic blog content for the sake of content
AI-generated content spam
vague “SEO takes time” responses without strategy
blended reporting that hides performance
Communication & Transparency
I expect:
clear explanations in plain English
honest feedback when something isn’t working
visibility into what’s being done and why
If something is underperforming, I want:
- the issue
- the plan
- the expected outcome
