Document Solutions Operator (Temporary – Remote, Illinois-Based | $35/hr)
- A respected law firm is seeking a Temporary Document Solutions Operator to join their team on an ongoing, indefinite basis. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to support a busy legal team from anywhere in Illinois. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and skilled in producing and formatting high-quality legal documents with precision and speed.Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and format a wide range of legal documents accurately and efficiently
- Perform transcription from audio dictation, as well as PDF‑to‑Word conversions and document cleanups
- Generate redlines and reformat complex layouts, tables, and numbering
- Manage multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure consistency and quality across all materials Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar document production or word processing role preferred
- Typing speed of at least 80 wpm
- Advanced proficiency in MS Word (styles, tables, TOCs/TOAs, numbering, mail merges, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Excel (charts, formulas, formatting) and PowerPoint (creating/modifying presentations)
- Strong grammar, proofreading, and organizational skills
- Must be located in Illinois
