Job Description
We’re looking for a high-energy, driven appointment setter to work directly with the founder of a growing advisory firm focused on helping $1M–$30M business owners scale.
This is not a corporate SDR role.
You’ll be reaching out to real business owners, starting real conversations, and booking qualified calls that lead to paid workshops and long-term advisory relationships.
If you’re sharp, competitive, and want to be close to high-level business conversations, this is a strong opportunity. This position has the opportunity to lead the Sales for the company in the near future with even larger potential compensation.
- What You’ll Do:
- Outbound calls to business owners (primary channel)
- LinkedIn outreach and follow-up
- Text/email follow-ups to warm prospects
- Book qualified calls (not just fill calendars)
- Work directly with the founder to refine messaging and approach
- What This Is NOT:
- Not a script-reading role
- Not a “spray and pray” sales job
- Not a low-impact admin position
- What We’re Looking For:
- Strong communicator (clear, confident, direct)
- Comfortable on the phone
- Competitive and driven by results
- Able to handle rejection without slowing down
- Coachable and willing to improve quickly
- Experience is a plus—but not required.Compensation:
- Base salary + performance-based commission
- On-target earnings: $65K–$85K+
- Strong performers will exceed this

- Remote, with preference for NJ/NY area
