Job Title: Sr. AI Solution Architect

- Certifications in AI, automation, RPA, or cloud platforms are a plus but not required.
- Job Overview:
- The Senior AI Solution Architect leads enterprise AI and intelligent automation initiatives, translating business problems into scalable solutions through hands-on POC development.
- Designs and builds AI-driven prototypes (agents, copilots, automated workflows) using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Salesforce Agentforce, and UiPath.
- Applies deep understanding of healthcare payer operations, workflows, and value streams to deliver “as-is” and “to-be” architectures aligned with enterprise standards, Responsible AI, data governance, security, and HIPAA. Partners with Agile teams and may serve as technical lead.
- Duties and Responsibilities:
- Partner with business leaders, product owners, and SMEs to identify, prioritize, and define AI/automation use cases tied to measurable outcomes.
- Translate business workflows, manual processes, and decision points into AI/automation solution designs and POCs.
- Communicate AI concepts, value, limitations, and risks to non-technical stakeholders.
- Evaluate AI platforms, automation tools, and RPA technologies for use case suitability.
- Analyze current business and IT environments to identify automation, optimization, and orchestration opportunities.
- Assess data readiness, integration dependencies, security, and compliance requirements.
- Design and develop hands-on POCs including intelligent agents/copilots (Copilot Studio, Agentforce) and RPA solutions (UiPath or equivalent).
- Lead architecture and technical design for conversational AI, agent workflows, decision support, process automation, and document processing with RPA.
- Create architecture artifacts (solution blueprints, automation flows, data/integration diagrams, security and compliance controls) and define design standards and reusable patterns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Agile teams to ensure scalable solutions, provide architectural guidance (risks, dependencies, technical debt), and ensure compliance with HIPAA, data privacy, and enterprise security standards.
- Required Skills and Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in information technology, with at least 4 years in solution or enterprise architecture roles.
- Demonstrated hands‑on experience developing AI and automation solutions, including proofs of concept.
- Direct experience building intelligent agents or copilots using:
- Microsoft Copilot Studio
- Salesforce Agentforce
- Hands‑on experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools such as:
- UiPath (required)
- Designing, building, and orchestrating automated workflows
- Strong understanding of AI and automation solution patterns, including:
- Agent‑based workflows
- AI‑assisted automation
- Human‑in‑the‑loop designs
- Experience integrating AI and RPA solutions with enterprise systems and data sources using APIs and middleware.
- Understanding of healthcare data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements (HIPAA).
- Experience working within Agile / Scrum teams and delivery models.
- Strong domain knowledge of healthcare payer operations (e.g., claims, enrollment, provider, care management, prior authorization).
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience with additional AI/ML platforms (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services).
- Experience combining RPA with AI for intelligent automation scenarios.
- Familiarity with AI governance, Responsible AI practices, and model lifecycle management.
- Experience supporting an Automation or AI Center of Excellence (CoE).
- Experience with Healthcare Payer Core Administrative Processing System (CAPS) like Facets.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
