We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate licensed counselor to join our team. This position works primarily through Telehealth.
- Under general supervision you will:
- Assess, screen, and counsels individuals/consumers in a variety of program areas to enhance, meet or restore a patient's/individual's/consumer's functioning capacity.
- Develop or participate in, case management/care plans
- Provide case management/case coordination services to individuals/consumers.
- Provide in-depth evaluations of consumer's level of functioning.
- Completes psychosocial assessment tools that are used to determine consumer's level of care.
Degree Required: Master's in Counseling with 2 years of experience. LCSW or LPC required to be considered.
- Qualifications:
- Licensure by the Georgia State Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, Psychologists, and/or Marriage and Family Therapists is required .
- Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, sociology, education, nursing, vocational rehabilitation, or other appropriate therapeutic discipline and two years of full-time (or equivalent part time) work experience in social service delivery in provision of professional therapeutic services to individuals with disabilities.
- Experience providing mental health services remotely
All applicants will be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report check, drug test, as well as National (NCIC) and local (GCIC) criminal background checks.
