Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Clinical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic services to individuals facing various mental health/addiction challenges. This role requires a strong understanding of behavioral health practices and the ability to implement effective treatment plans using evidence-based therapies. The Clinical Therapist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care and support.

Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide psychotherapy and counseling services utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and crisis intervention strategies.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and coding for all patient interactions in compliance with regulatory standards.
Engage in clinical research to stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in therapy and behavioral health.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure holistic support for patients.
Facilitate group therapy sessions as needed, fostering a supportive environment for shared experiences.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly based on ongoing evaluations.

Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
Valid California state licensure as a Clinical Therapist or equivalent certification.
Proven experience in therapy, particularly with children, is highly desirable.
Strong skills in crisis intervention and patient care management.
Familiarity with medical documentation practices and coding standards.
Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities, including psychotherapy techniques.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients effectively.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and clinical research within the field of behavioral health.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
