- *Job Summary**
We're seeking a charismatic and experienced Virtual Livestream Event Moderator to join our team and help create a seamless, engaging, and inclusive experience for our global audience. As a key member of our event team, you'll be responsible for moderating live sessions, engaging with the audience, and fostering a welcoming and supportive virtual space.
- *Key Responsibilities**
- **Audience Engagement** + Welcome and energize the virtual audience during live sessions+ Monitor and interact with audience comments in the chat, responding to questions and keeping the energy upbeat+ Share event updates, encourage participation, and maintain a positive, inclusive environment
- **Live Session Moderation** + Host and moderate livestreamed conversations, panel discussions, and Q&A sessions with performers and speakers+ Guide one-on-one conversations between audience members and featured guests+ Manage timing and transitions between segments to keep the event on schedule+ Work with the production team to troubleshoot any live communication issues
- **Community Building** + Foster a welcoming and supportive virtual space where everyone feels included+ Help amplify the festival's themes of self-love and resilience by encouraging meaningful dialogue

- **A team player who can think on their feet and adapt to changing dynamics**: Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
- **Available to dedicate 5-10 hours per week leading up to the festival and full availability on February 13, 2025**: Commit to the demands of the role and be available for the duration of the festival
