Job Overview:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Content Writer to join our team onsite at our prestigious client Liberty, located in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills and the ability to produce a wide range of professional content tailored to the insurance, financial services, or corporate compliance domains.

    Key Responsibilities:
  • Write, edit, and proofread content for digital and print platforms including articles, white papers, internal documentation, training material, blogs, and newsletters.
  • Create high-quality content aligned with Liberty’s tone, brand guidelines, and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, legal, and compliance to develop content strategies.
  • Translate complex insurance, financial, or legal concepts into accessible and engaging content.
  • Perform content audits, updates, and revisions based on evolving business needs.
  • Ensure content supports business goals and meets SEO and accessibility best practices (where applicable).
  • Maintain editorial consistency across all content channels.
    Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 10 + years of professional writing experience, preferably in the insurance, financial services, or corporate communications sector.
  • Excellent command of English with strong writing, editing, and research skills.
  • Ability to quickly grasp technical and industry-specific topics and communicate them clearly.
  • Experience working in a structured environment with deadlines and multi-stakeholder inputs.
  • Familiarity with AP style, brand voice consistency, and regulatory/compliance writing standards.
    Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience working with insurance clients or on-site client engagements.
  • Knowledge of Liberty Mutual’s services, brand, or industry positioning is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with CMS tools (e.g., WordPress, Adobe Experience Manager).
  • Exposure to SEO writing and digital content strategy.
