- POSITION SUMMARY:Focus Interpreting is looking for a skilled English - Farsi Simultaneous Interpreter to join our team. In this role, you will provide real-time interpretation during various events and conferences, ensuring effective communication between English and Farsi speakers.RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver simultaneous interpretation during meetings, conferences, and other events, ensuring clarity and understanding for both English and Farsi-speaking participants.
- Utilize interpretation equipment and technology to provide accurate and immediate translations in fast-paced situations.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times during interpretation sessions.
- Prepare for assignments by researching terminology and understanding the specific context and subject matter involved.
- Continuously enhance language proficiency and interpretation skills to provide the highest quality service to clients.
Requirements:
- Fluency in English and Farsi- Experience in simultaneous interpretation- Strong communication skills- Knowledge of cultural nuances- Excellent listening and analytical skills- Prior experience in professional settings preferred
