This is an unpaid internship. No wages or salary are provided. The role is intended for currently enrolled college students seeking hands-on experience in B2B sales development and early-stage startup operations.
About Us
- We are an early-stage PropTech startup building autonomous emergency dispatch software for the trades industry, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. We are actively building our sales pipeline and looking for a motivated SDR intern to help us connect with prospects and drive top-of-funnel growth.What You Will Do
- Make outbound prospecting calls to small business owners in the trades industry using a provided script and framework
- Qualify leads based on business size, current workflow, and buying signals
- Book discovery calls and demos for the founding team
- Maintain clean, organized records of outreach activity and pipeline stages in our CRM
- Follow up with warm leads via phone and email to move deals forward
- Attend weekly check-ins with the founding team to review pipeline progress and share feedback from the field
- Contribute insights from calls to help refine messaging and sales positioning
- What You Will Learn
- How to run effective outbound SDR motions from prospecting to qualification
- How to handle objections and hold confident sales conversations
- How early-stage startups build and manage a sales pipeline from scratch
- Go-to-market strategy, lead qualification frameworks (like BANT or MEDDIC), and sales segmentation fundamentals
- How to use CRM tools to track activity, manage follow-ups, and report on performance
- How to turn prospect conversations into actionable feedback for the founding team
- Full training is provided before your first call. No prior sales experience is required.Whom We Are Looking For
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, preferably in business, marketing, communications, or a related field
- Comfortable making outbound phone calls and holding natural, confident conversations with business owners
- Resilient and coachable — willing to hear "no" and keep dialing
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to follow a structured sales process
- Genuinely curious about how small businesses operate and buy software
- Able to self-manage in a fully remote and flexible environment
