- All Star Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Breast Imaging Radiologist for locum coverage in Illinois. Some details include:
- Mix of on-site and remote coverage across multiple outpatient imaging centers
- Coverage includes both screening and diagnostic mammography across three sites
- Average daily volumes:
- Primary site: ~55-65 patients per day
- Additional sites: ~10-15 patients per day (part-time coverage during the week)
- Equipment includes Hologic and Siemens mammography units
- Responsibilities include screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, and biopsies
- Biopsy procedures performed at the primary site (ultrasound-guided and stereotactic)
- Automated whole breast ultrasound (ABUS) available on select days
- Schedule:
- 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Coverage needed midweek for breast imaging, with one additional day for general radiology
- No call required
- Requirements:
- MQSA certification required
- Fellowship preferred but not required
- Open to general radiologists with mammography training
- Systems:
- EMR: Epic
- Dictation: PowerScribe
- PACS: McKesson
- Support:
- Dedicated technologist support across modalities including mammography, ultrasound, and bone density
- Additional Details:
- Ongoing need with potential for consistent scheduling
- Must be licensed in Illinois
