As an Experienced Data Entry Clerk at careerzynith, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining database accuracy by entering new and updated customer and account information in a timely and efficient manner
- Preparing source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information, establishing entry priorities, and processing customer and account source documents
- Resolving deficiencies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution
- Entering customer and account data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information on keyboard or optical scanner according to screen format
- Maintaining data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures
- Verifying entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data
- Combining data from both systems when account information is incomplete
- Purging files to eliminate duplication of data
- Testing customer and account system changes and upgrades by inputting new data
- Securing information by completing data base backups

To excel in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Data entry experience or related office experience
- Basic computer courses may be preferred by some employers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
