- *Responsibilities**
As an Experienced Personal Lines Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- **Assisting Clients with Claim Submissions and Status Updates**: You'll work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide timely updates on their claims, ensuring they feel supported and informed throughout the process.
- **Responding to Client Inquiries**: You'll respond to client inquiries via phone, email, or in person, providing accurate and helpful information to resolve their concerns and address their questions.
- **Processing and Managing Personal Lines Insurance Policies**: You'll work with underwriters and agents to ensure smooth processing of policies, maintaining a thorough understanding of personal lines insurance products and regulatory requirements.
- **Maintaining Client Information and Communication**: You'll enter and update client information in our database and CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records. You'll also maintain regular communication with clients regarding policy changes and billing.
- **Preparing and Reviewing Insurance Documents**: You'll prepare, review, and file insurance documents for accuracy and compliance, ensuring that all necessary information is complete and up-to-date.
- **Addressing Client Concerns and Finding Solutions**: You'll work with relevant departments to find solutions to client concerns, providing exceptional support and ensuring client satisfaction.
- **Providing Billing Information and Payment Support**: You'll provide clients with billing information and assist with payment-related inquiries, ensuring seamless payment processing and minimizing delays.
- **Ensuring Compliance and Regulatory Requirements**: You'll ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and agency policies, maintaining a thorough understanding of industry regulations and best practices.
- *Requirements**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- **High School Diploma or Equivalent**: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree is a plus.
- **2+ Years of Relevant Work Experience**: You'll need at least 2 years of relevant work experience in personal lines insurance, with prior knowledge of policy management, quoting, or claims handling.
- **Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills**: You'll need excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) to effectively interact with clients, underwriters, and agents.
- **Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite**: You'll need to be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and products, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems.
- **Demonstrated Success in Delivering High-Quality Customer Support**: You'll need to have demonstrated success in delivering high-quality customer support, with a proven track record of resolving client concerns and exceeding expectations.
- **Ability to Multitask in a Fast-Paced Environment**: You'll need to be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
