As a Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the Specialty Mail Request team by performing a variety of tasks, including:
- **Data Entry**: Accurately and efficiently enter patient information, prescriptions, and other relevant data into our system.
- **Pharmacy Operations**: Assist pharmacists in processing prescriptions, answering patient inquiries, and resolving issues related to medication therapy.
- **Communication**: Effectively communicate with doctors, insurance agencies, and other stakeholders to resolve cases and provide excellent customer service.
- **Problem-Solving**: Identify and resolve issues related to medication therapy, patient care, and system errors.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals and objectives.

- Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and efficiency
- Assist pharmacists in processing prescriptions and answering patient inquiries

- *Essential Qualifications**
- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- **Experience**: 2+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician; experience in a high-volume pharmacy setting preferred
- **Certifications**: Pharmacy Technician certification in the state of GA; national certification preferred
- **Skills**: Excellent data entry skills; strong communication and problem-solving skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- *Preferred Qualifications**
- **Specialty Pharmacy Experience**: Experience working in a specialty pharmacy setting; knowledge of specialty medications and therapies
- **Prescription Settlement Experience**: Experience working with prescribers to resolve case status and survey solution guarantee issues
- **Leadership Experience**: Experience leading or participating in quality improvement initiatives; ability to mentor and train others
