- *Key Responsibilities**
As a Lead Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:
- Greeting customers and providing a warm welcome to our store
- Operating the register, handling cash and credit transactions, and making change
- Making purchase suggestions to customers and promoting our products and services
- Working with our food program to provide a seamless shopping experience
- Leading shifts on a regular basis, gaining entry-level management experience
- Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, both inside and out
- Providing fast and friendly service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
- Interacting with customers daily, building relationships, and resolving any issues that may arise
- Working collaboratively with our team to achieve daily goals and objectives
- *Essential Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
- A strong work ethic, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities
- Basic math skills, with the ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Retail and customer service experience, preferably in a leadership role
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 60 pounds
- *Preferred Qualifications**
While not essential, the following qualifications would be beneficial:
- Sales associate or cashiering experience
- Entry-level management experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Motivation to advance in your career
- Willingness to learn and have fun!
- *Physical Requirements**
As a Lead Customer Service Representative, you'll need to be able to:
- Stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours
- Lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes in a shift
- Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level
- Push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
- Bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour a shift
- Grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands, requiring eye-hand coordination
