We're looking for a detail-driven and patient-centered pharmacy technician to work from home as part of our remote operations team. As a Remote Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry Specialist, you'll play a critical role in powering the prescription journey from prescriber to patient with accuracy and care. About the Role


As a Remote Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry Specialist, you'll serve as the first line of digital contact, ensuring prescription orders are received, verified, and processed with precision. Your responsibilities will include:


  • Accurately entering, reviewing, and validating prescription and patient information

  • Utilizing PioneerRx and Pharmetika to maintain clear and compliant electronic records

  • Communicating with prescribers to clarify or obtain orders

  • Contacting patients regarding profile details, insurance coverage, and order status

  • Investigating and resolving rejected claims and third-party payer issues

  • Handling delays, copay discrepancies, and prescription interruptions with proactive communication

  • Managing a high volume of prescription entries with professionalism and urgency

  • Participating in rotating Saturday shifts (careerzynith is always closed on Sundays!)

What We're Looking For


We're seeking a talented pharmacy technician with technical knowledge and exceptional communication skills. Requirements include:


  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician

  • Registration with the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy

  • National CPhT certification (preferred but not required)

  • Strong data entry and electronic prescription processing experience

  • Familiarity with PioneerRx and/or Pharmetika platforms (preferred)

  • Comfort working independently and collaboratively in a fully remote setup

  • Ability to work 40 hours per week with Saturday rotation

  • Overtime eligibility with prior supervisor approval
