- *Key Responsibilities**
As an Experienced Customer Service Associate - Temporary, you will be responsible for:
- Modeling and delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including greeting customers, offering assistance, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Registering sales on assigned cash register, providing customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
- Engaging customers and patients by offering assistance with products and services, answering questions, and resolving issues to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Recommending items for sale to customers and suggesting trade-up and/or companion items to enhance their shopping experience.
- Registering customer purchases, collecting cash, and distributing change as requested; processing voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
- Maintaining a clean and well-merchandised store environment, including counters and shelves, and ensuring compliance with company asset protection procedures.
- Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance, ensuring a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance.
- Providing customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine, and suggestive selling of promotional photo products.
- Assisting with web pick-up responsibilities, including monitoring orders, filling orders, and delivering orders to customers as they arrive at the store.
- *Essential Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
- A willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekend hours.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service.
- *Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, we prefer candidates with:
- Six months of experience in a retail environment.
- Prior work experience with careerzynith.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
