Location: Remote (Texas-based license required)
Compensation: Up to $110.17/hour (rate varies by payer, client mix, and hours billed)
About the Opportunity
Join a virtual care platform designed to help licensed clinicians build or expand a private practice with insurance—without the typical administrative burden. You’ll gain streamlined access to credentialing, compliance support, major payers, and practice tools so you can focus on delivering high-quality care to covered clients, sooner.
- What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based psychotherapy and behavioral health services to insured clients via telehealth in accordance with professional standards and applicable regulations.
- Conduct initial evaluations, clinical assessments, and ongoing treatment planning; establish measurable goals and adjust plans as clinically indicated.
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation (e.g., intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries) aligned with payer and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize platform tools for scheduling, secure client messaging, documentation, and assessments to support efficient, organized care delivery.
- Collaborate as needed with primary care providers, psychiatrists, and other members of a client’s care team (with appropriate consent) to coordinate treatment.
- Ensure ethical and compliant practice, including adherence to HIPAA, telehealth requirements, scope of practice, and applicable state/federal regulations.
- Participate in audit readiness and quality assurance activities by following provided compliance resources and responding to documentation requests when needed.
- Maintain active licensure, malpractice coverage, and required continuing education; leverage available CEU opportunities to support ongoing development.
- What We Provide (Platform & Support)
- No-cost credentialing support across multiple states, often completed in as little as 30 days (timelines depend on payer/state).
- Access to major insurance plans, including Medicare Advantage and Medicaid, to help you expand your client base.
- Predictable payments with reliable bi-weekly payout cycles to improve cash flow stability.
- All-in-one practice management tools (scheduling, secure messaging, documentation, and assessments).
- Compliance and audit support from the start, with resources to help you stay in good standing.
- Free professional development opportunities, including CEU-eligible courses (availability varies).
- Requirements (Must-Have)
- Active, unrestricted clinical license in Texas to practice independently (e.g., Licensed Psychologist, or equivalent independent clinical license as applicable to your discipline).
- Master’s degree or higher in a mental health field (or doctoral degree where required by licensure).
- Valid NPI number.
- Active malpractice insurance.
- Ability to provide telehealth services in compliance with HIPAA and applicable state/federal regulations.
- Strong clinical judgment, ethical practice standards, and commitment to client-centered, culturally responsive care.
- Reliable internet connection, private workspace, and comfort using technology for video-based care and documentation.
- Nice-to-Have
- Experience working with insurance-based care, including documentation requirements and medical necessity standards.
- Experience with evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, trauma-informed approaches).
- Experience treating common presentations such as anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, ADHD, substance use disorders, or serious mental illness (SMI).
- Prior telehealth experience and familiarity with EHR/practice management tools.
- Additional state licenses and/or interest in multi-state credentialing.
Who Thrives in This Role
You enjoy the autonomy of private practice while valuing strong operational support. You’re motivated to grow a consistent caseload of insured clients, appreciate predictable payments, and prefer tools that reduce administrative work so you can focus on clinical care.
