As a Customer Service Agent at careerzynith, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences across our water utilities services. You'll be responsible for providing top-notch support to our customers, handling a wide range of inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.   • Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, or in-person, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Process customer payments, prepare bills, and make adjustments as needed
  • Handle work orders for service disconnections, reconnections, and new orders
  • Read and record meters and water usage
  • Process requests to turn water service on and off
  • Establish and maintain customer accounts, ensuring accurate account information
  • Input and query databases to make financial adjustments and prorate changes
  • Perform field work, including installing new meters, repairing leaks, and assisting with emergency repairs
  • Assist with special projects and other related duties as needed
  • *Other Responsibilities:**
  • Verify credit and deposit information
  • Review customer correspondence
  • Provide information about community financial assistance resources
  • Review income eligibility applications, tax returns, and transcripts
  • Instruct lower-level employees
  • Transmit and receive radio communication to and from field personnel
