About SFam
SFam Logistics is a licensed freight broker built by former drivers and dispatchers, not finance guys who never touched a dock. We move truckload, LTL, reefer, flatbed, and dedicated freight across the U.S. and Canada. No fluff — we just do what we say we’re going to do, every load, every time.
The Role
We’re looking for an independent freight broker agent to build and run their own book of business. You bring the hustle, we bring the infrastructure — TMS, carrier vetting, back-office support, and a brand built on trust.
You keep prospecting, quoting, and closing.
You’ll own the full shipment lifecycle:
Prospect shippers and build carrier relationships
Quote freight and negotiate rates on both sides
Tender loads, onboard carriers, dispatch, track-and-trace
Resolve issues fast and confirm delivery
Keep the TMS/CRM clean and accurate
Who We Want
Must be based in the United States and authorized to work as a 1099 independent contractor in the U.S.
You’ve worked freight before — broker, dispatcher, or similar — and know how the gears turn
You can negotiate, you can close, and you don’t need someone checking in on you
You’re comfortable running your day from a laptop and a phone, not a cubicle
Existing shipper or carrier relationships? Even better
You understand what it means to operate within FMCSA rules and your own authority as a 1099
