Social Worker (part-time)
We are seeking a dedicated part-time Social Worker to join our Nursing Facility Assessment team. This role involves reviewing Level II evaluations for individuals with Mental Illness (MI) or Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (ID/DD), working closely with the Nurses to develop determinations and specialized service recommendations. Duties:
Β Collaborate with the Nurses to review Level II evaluations and create determination letters.
Β Develop guidance and training materials for Level II evaluators regarding specialized services.
Β Provide timely assistance to Level I and Level II evaluators, referring cases to appropriate staff and community services.
Β Document services provided using established tracking strategies.
Qualifications:
Β Master of Social Work (MSW) from an accredited college or university and licensed to practice in the State of Kansas.
Β Minimum of two yearsΒ experience in nursing facilities, mental health centers, or developmental disability services.
Β Strong written and oral communication skills, organizational abilities, and interpersonal skills.
Β Intermediate to advanced computer skills, especially in Excel.
Hourly: $30 - $35/hr
