Professional experience:
Ā Minimum 3 years experience handling all aspects of import operations from
beginning to end.
Ā Familiar with customs regulations and insuring compliance and minimizing
disruptions.
Ā In depth understanding of shipping regulations including customs procedures and
documentation requirements.
Ā Proven track record of customer satisfaction that includes fostering relationships.
Ā Experience handling cross border moves.
Ā Ability to work in high pressure environments.
Ā Experience negotiating rates with carriers, trucking companies and vendors... in
general.
Ā Technologically savvy.
