Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to join our team for a full-time position within school districts in the Westfield, IN area. We are conducting interviews now for this immediate opportunity.
Key Responsibilities...
Ā Assist teachers in the classroom by providing additional support to students.
Ā Work one-on-one or in small groups with students who require extra help.
Ā Support students with special needs, ensuring they receive appropriate accommodations.
Ā Help manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive, productive learning environment.
Ā Prepare instructional materials and assist with classroom organization.
Ā Supervise students during non-classroom activities such as lunch, recess, and field trips.
Requirements:
Ā Must meet all local and state requirements for paraprofessionals, including:
Ā A high school diploma or equivalent is required. An associate degree or higher, or at least two years of post-secondary education, is preferred.
Ā May be required to completed the ParaPro Assessment.
Ā Must pass a background check as required by the school district.
Ā Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is highly preferred.
