Job Opportunity
We are seeking experienced candidates for legal and judicial contract work focused on transcribing depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings. This position is 100% remote and open to Independent Contractors, with the flexibility to set your own schedule. Weekend availability is encouraged.
Responsibilities
ย Transcribe audio recordings from depositions, hearings, and judicial proceedings while strictly adhering to style guides.
ย Ensure accuracy through intense attention to detail.
ย Utilize legal terminology and demonstrate excellent grammar.
Qualifications
ย Significant experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription is required.
ย Excellent listening skills and the ability to discern details in audio content.
ย Strong literacy skills, including comprehension, spelling, and grammar.
ย Adherence to deadlines and client-specific style guides.
ย Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote work environment.
ย Proficient typing skills with speed and accuracy.
ย Capability to process extreme audio/text content, which may include offensive material.
ย Ability to pass a background check.
ย Familiarity with legal terminology.
ย Court reporting students may also be considered.

Technical Requirements
To effectively utilize our global transcription technology, candidates must have:
ย High-speed internet connection.
ย A computer or laptop.
ย Quality noise-canceling headphones.
ย Windows 10 operating system.
ย An antivirus program with daily virus definition updates (excluding Webroot antivirus).
ย An Infinity foot pedal (highly recommended).
ย Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
