Position: Prior Authorization & Medical Claims Specialist
Pay: $19/hr. Weekly Pay plus Benefits
Schedule: 8am-9pm EST. M-F (8hr Shift between these hours)
ย *Equipment Provided and shipped directly to your home**
ย ***Must live in the states of Arizona, Kentucky, Florida, Texas, Utah or Atlanta to be considered****
Start Date: Early October 2024
Job Details:
ย Processing medical claims via electronic fax.
ย May perform some outbounds calls and take some inbound calls assisting patients with medical related inquiries.
ย Perform medical benefits investigations
ย Using computer skills for data entry.
ย Gathering and reviewing patient billing and medical information.
ย Operating according to the guidelines of the Federal Health Care Program.
ย Working with carriers to ensure coverage of medication on behalf of the patient.
Requirements: Must have 1 year or more of Medical benefits/ Prior Authorization experience (NO EXCEPTIONS)
ย Previous experience in a Medical call center environment, or related field preferred but not required.
ย Ability to multi-task and use dual monitors.
ย Great work attitude and willingness to help others.
ย HS Diploma/Equivalent.
ย Demonstrated ability to handle inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and empathy.
ย Strong problem-solving skills to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
ย Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure and in challenging situations.
