Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Standards Data Analyst and Data Entry Specialist to.
As a key member of our Quality Control Strategies and Guidelines Group, you will play a crucial role in driving a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation by identifying statistical trends and performance metrics to improve our Quality Control division. This is a remote work opportunity, offering flexibility and work-life balance, with a competitive salary of $28/hour. Key Responsibilities Perform and assist others in the Quality Control team in optimal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data elements.
Help create and present results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical stakeholders and leaders. Assist in investigating critical ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging maintenance issues and provide logical responses to enable senior management to make informed business decisions while balancing existing project responsibility. Presentation of insights, trends, and potential recommendations using data visualization tools supporting the relevant aspects of the analysis to facilitate stakeholder understanding.
Help create and distribute specific queries to pull and integrate data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and validating the necessity of the data requirements. Identify irregularities in processes through audits and convey findings to the team. Assess the effectiveness of processes and methods by monitoring for trends and anomalies. Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the center of every decision. May perform other work duties as directed by the Team Leader. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Strong ability to collect, organize, analyze critical amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to effectively listen to, understand, and communicate ideas and present written, verbal, or presentation materials to audiences of varying sizes. Ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics. Proficient in bolthires Office. Knowledge of data visualization tools and capabilities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase, is preferred.
Ability to grasp the issue, to summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning. Able to use PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications is preferred. Past internship, capstone projects, and research coursework is preferred. Able to work effectively in a strong support/team-oriented environment. Able to commit to responsibilities and be a self-motivated individual. Past internship experience in a related field is preferred. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
Preferred Qualifications Experience in data analysis, quality control, or a related field. Strong understanding of statistical concepts and data visualization techniques. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
