This role is an integral part of our Executive
Compensation team within the People/HR Division. As an Analytics Specialist, you will be responsible for providing programming and analytical expertise to build and enhance solutions supporting Executive
Compensation programs.
Your tasks will include leading data analysis and award calculation projects, driving best practices in a technology-first approach to Executive
Compensation, and collaborating with various teams to acquire data and transform it for analysis and calculation. Key Responsibilities Conceive and develop solutions to calculate incentive financial awards. Build analytical models to support compensation analyses and drive insights. Work with large datasets of salary and HR records, developing logic for identifying award eligibility.
Collaborate with HR Technology, Payroll, IT, and local teams to acquire data and transform it for analysis/calculation. Build data visualizations to support analytical tasks. Look for new ways to leverage and implement technology to improve processes. All You'll Need for Success Essential Qualifications To excel in this role, you'll need a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience/training. Additionally, you should have: 5 years of work experience in an analytical business field, such as Business, Mathematics, Economics, or Data Visualization.
5 years of work experience with data extraction, manipulation, and analysis from relational databases. 5 years of experience using SQL and one or more scripting languages. Experience with Data Visualization software (Power BI, Tableau). Advanced knowledge of bolthires 365 applications. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge: Master's in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Data Visualization, Applied Data Science, or a related field. Experience programming in TSQL and Python.
Experience with bolthires SQL Server / Azure SQL, code editors (Visual Studio Code, Azure Data Studio), Alteryx Designer, HR or Payroll data, bolthires Power Automate / Power Apps, or other automated workflow solutions. HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript skills are a plus. Project Management experience and Continuous Improvement experience are also desirable. Skills, Licenses, and Certifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: Excellent project planning and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage complex projects within tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and critical thinking capabilities. Ability to productively and proactively adapt to dynamic situations.
