As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in contributing to the growth and success of one of our key business areas by providing data insights and analysis to inform high-impact decisions that reduce time to detect abuse. Your expertise in data analysis, SQL, and Excel will be essential in driving business outcomes and improving processes. Key Responsibilities Own the weekly/monthly dashboards for key metric tracking and related deep dives Automate data templates and reports to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort Engage with cross-functional partners to assist with running deep dives, testing hypotheses, and measuring the impact of ML/item changes on key metrics Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to drive business growth Develop and maintain databases and data systems to support business intelligence and analytics Key Job Requirements SQL skills: ability to write complex queries and analyze large datasets bolthires Excel: proficiency in data analysis, pivot tables, and data visualization Passion for turning data into insights, building structures for self-service, high attention to detail, and data integrity Ability to prioritize and focus on high-impact areas, with a strong understanding of business operations and processes Collaboration and problem-solving skills: ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive business outcomes Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: 1+ years of business analysis experience (managing large complex data) with a strong understanding of data analysis and interpretation Knowledge of SQL and Excel at a moderate or high level, with experience in data modeling and database design Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics, or business administration) Experience working directly with business teams to use metrics and analysis to identify improvement opportunities and drive business growth Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following skills and qualifications are highly desirable: Knowledge of SQL/Python/R, scripting, MS Excel, table joins, and total analytical capabilities Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data mining techniques Strong understanding of business operations and processes, with experience in process improvement and optimization Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
