Key Responsibilities Oversee and lead maintenance technicians, providing guidance and direction to help them achieve their objectives Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs, building compliance programs, and managing facility and contractor operations Act as a champion for safety within the team and promote safe working practices across the site Manage maintenance-related purchase orders to optimize smooth facility operation and control of critical spare and store stock to ensure adequate inventory levels for maintenance Install, maintain, and troubleshoot all facility systems, including power distribution, automated material handling equipment, conveyors, and other operational hardware Build and maintain strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including regular participation in site leadership meetings and control panels A Day in the Life As a
Senior RME Technician at arenaflex, your day will be filled with a variety of challenging and rewarding tasks.
You will be responsible for driving a team to ensure that all equipment is running smoothly and that preventive maintenance is carried out to increase gear uptime. You will also be expected to recommend improvements to make our systems more efficient and effective. With a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction, you will be an integral part of the arenaflex team, working together to achieve our goals and objectives. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Formal trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter/Turner or equivalent Leadership experience in managing multi-trade teams in a fast-paced assembly/distribution center environment Relevant experience in automation or material handling equipment conditions Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize a wide range of projects and responsibilities Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to schedule proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks Experience in contractor management Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be highly regarded: Understanding of PLC-based control systems and regulatory compliance requirements Experience using automated maintenance management systems to schedule proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks
