Job Overview

The Part-Time Customer Care Associate will play a vital role in our leading-edge call center environment, processing incoming orders, and resolving customer inquiries in a courteous and professional manner. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the sale and marketing of our supplier brands, ensuring that sales are captured, and customer inquiries are successfully resolved. Key Responsibilities Ensure that sales are captured by responding to customers and entering orders accurately and efficiently in SAP. Resolve customer inquiries through the use of multiple customer support tools, including conducting research in SAP and/or contacting business units as appropriate. Maintain world-class standards by successfully performing against department scorecards and metrics, identifying opportunities to exceed service requirements, and building relationships with customers and contacts.

Establish and maintain world-class customer relations by developing a rapport, actively listening, and providing consultative support and recommendations. Identify and evaluate opportunities to increase customer retention, maintain customer confidence, and protect operations by keeping information confidential and suggesting alternatives to out of stock or limited quantity items. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, which may include participating in training sessions, attending team meetings, and contributing to process improvements.

Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or equivalent. Basic PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs. No previous experience is required, but a results-oriented mindset and excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. The ability to multi-task, work independently, and as part of a team, with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. Sound judgment and problem-solving skills, with the ability to utilize diplomacy and discretion in customer interactions.

Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: A Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent training and work experience. 1-2 years of previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the consumer products or distribution industry.
