Job Overview In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and discuss requirements from business partners across various verticals, including Memberships, Sales, Reverse Logistics, Finance, Product, and more.
Your expertise in data engineering will be essential in building new data ingestions using a combination of native AWS services and internal arenaflex tools, as well as maintaining and improving existing data ingestions to ensure they meet evolving standards and corporate mandates. Key Responsibilities Gather and discuss requirements from business partners across various verticals to ensure data ingestions meet their needs Build new data ingestions using a combination of native AWS services and internal arenaflex tools Maintain and improve existing data ingestions to ensure they meet evolving standards and corporate mandates Develop and maintain systems or tools for internal team and external partner use to manage data Perform code reviews and ensure best practices are followed for ETL and data cleanliness by colleagues and supporting teams About the Team
The Ring Data Warehouse team at arenaflex is responsible for managing the centralized data repository for Ring.
We acquire and distribute data from various internal and external sources, which are utilized by different stakeholders, such as Ring Product engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, Customer Service, and Sales analytics. Our team is passionate about delivering high-quality data solutions that drive business growth and innovation. Essential Qualifications 3+ years of data engineering experience Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines Experience with SQL Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent) Preferred Qualifications Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, Firehose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language, such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS Experience with non-relational databases/data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases) Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent technical skills, including data engineering, data modeling, and SQL.
You should also have strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Additionally, you should be able to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and business needs, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
