Walmart is actively seeking a dedicated, customer-focused Retail Sales Associate for our Flemingsburg location to work part-time for less than 4 hours daily. Job Description:
As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be the face of our brand, fostering relationships with customers, assisting them in locating items, answering product questions, and ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout process.
Responsibilities:
– Greet and engage with customers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner
– Assist customers in finding products and offer suggestions if needed
– Manage cash register and handle transactions accurately
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store
– Assist in restocking shelves and updating in-store displays
– Stay updated on product knowledge and store promotions
Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Previous retail experience is preferred but not required
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
– Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
– Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds
