(Tokyo Stock Exchange: 3914) Corporate site — NEQTO.ai — Job Title Bridge System Engineer (IoT / AI Platform) Japan–US Engineering Liaison Overview We are looking for a Bridge System Engineer to support the development of NEQTO.ai, an AI-powered IoT operations platform.

This role serves as a critical technical and communication bridge between our engineering teams in Japan and the United States, ensuring alignment across architecture, development priorities, and delivery. You will work closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to translate requirements, clarify technical intent, and accelerate execution across time zones. Responsibilities • Act as a technical liaison between Japan-based and US-based engineering teams • Translate and align technical requirements, specifications, and design discussions between Japanese and English • Support system design reviews, architecture discussions, and implementation planning • Identify gaps, risks, and misunderstandings in cross-team communication and proactively resolve them • Coordinate development progress, priorities, and issue tracking across teams • Support integration of IoT devices, connectivity layers, data pipelines, and AI/ML components • Participate in early-morning or late-night meetings as required to bridge time zones • Contribute hands-on when needed (design, review, debugging, documentation) Required Qualifications • Professional-level proficiency in both Japanese and English (spoken and written) • 5+ years of software or system engineering experience • Solid understanding of IoT architectures (devices, gateways, protocols, cloud ingestion) • Working knowledge of AI / Machine Learning concepts (data pipelines, analytics, model usage) • Strong technical communication skills — able to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences • Experience working with distributed or global engineering teams • Comfortable working flexible hours, including early mornings and late evenings, to support US–Japan collaboration Preferred Qualifications • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) • Familiarity with IoT protocols (MQTT, HTTP, BLE, LoRaWAN, BACnet, Modbus, etc.) • Experience with SaaS platforms, dashboards, or operations tools • Prior experience in a bridge / liaison / technical program role • Startup or fast-paced product development experience What You’ll Gain • A key role in building a global AI × IoT platform from the ground up • Direct influence on product quality, speed, and cross-border execution • Exposure to real-world IoT operations (IoT-Ops) at scale • Opportunity to shape how engineering teams collaborate globally Work Style • Remote / Hybrid (depending on location) • Flexible working hours required due to time zone overlap • Results-oriented, collaborative environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
