They are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead remote engagements for affordable housing entities, perform and review audits, and mentor junior staff while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Responsibilities • Lead remote engagements for affordable housing entities, including LIHTC partnerships and HUD-subsidized properties • Perform and review audits and financial statements for: • Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) partnerships • HUD programs • State and local housing agencies • Mentor and develop senior and staff auditors, providing technical guidance specific to affordable housing and real estate audits • Stay current on HUD guidance, AICPA audit standards, and regulatory changes Skills • 5-7+ years of public accounting experience • At least 1+ years of Supervisor or Management experience • Strong focus on Affordable Housing / Real Estate audits • Working knowledge of GAAS, Uniform Guidance/Single Audits/HUD audit requirements • Experience managing engagements through the full lifecycle • Ability to work independently in a 100% remote environment • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related • Active CPA Benefits • Bi-Annual bonus structure • 401(k) w/ strong match • 8.5 weeks of total PTO • Comprehensive health, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage • Paid professional dues - AICPA, CPA, and other • 100% remote work environment w/ NO travel required Company Overview • A Recruiting Company with Heart, Hustle, and High Standards.
