This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Corporate Debt Finance Attorney in the United States. The Corporate Debt Finance Attorney will provide expert legal counsel on complex corporate and financial transactions, focusing on debt financings, private equity deals, fund formation, and mergers and acquisitions. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely in a highly collaborative and client-focused environment, taking ownership of projects while supporting business growth for a diverse portfolio of clients.
The attorney will engage directly with clients and internal teams to deliver practical, high-quality legal solutions, while contributing to strategic decision-making and transactional execution. Ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial settings and bring a combination of BigLaw experience, strong analytical skills, and business acumen. Accountabilities: • Provide legal advice on debt financings, fund formation, private equity, structured equity investments, and mergers and acquisitions • Draft, review, and negotiate complex transactional documents and agreements • Manage multiple corporate transactions simultaneously while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on corporate and financial matters • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver efficient, high-quality legal services and support business objectives • Take ownership of client matters, providing strategic insights and practical solutions to support growth Requirements: • J.D.
from an accredited law school • Admission to the New York Bar (Delaware Bar admission is a plus) • Minimum of 5 years of experience in transactional corporate law, preferably with BigLaw experience • Proven expertise in corporate debt financing, fund formation, private equity, and mergers and acquisitions • Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills • Demonstrated business acumen and ability to provide practical legal advice • Self-motivated with an ownership mentality and ability to manage multiple client relationships • Comfortable working in a fully remote, entrepreneurial environment
