About the position
The Internet Merchandiser - eBusiness at Ferguson is responsible for shaping the online shopping experience for essential product categories, specifically focusing on Pipe, Valves, and Fittings (PVF). This role involves collaborating with product teams to develop strategies that enhance sales and margins, implementing merchandising updates across various online platforms, and creating exceptional customer experiences. The position requires a data-driven approach to optimize product visibility and drive traffic to online categories, ultimately supporting Ferguson's eBusiness goals.
Responsibilities • Collaborate with Product Managers and
Senior Merchandisers to develop strategies that boost sales and margins in assigned categories. • Partner with key vendors to promote their products effectively. • Coordinate online campaigns and promotions with multi-functional teams. • Work with the Digital Marketing team to drive targeted online traffic to your categories. • Design and optimize category and landing pages to enhance the customer experience. • Analyze customer behavior to find opportunities for improved conversions.
• Ensure accurate and engaging product attributes and images by collaborating with vendors and the content team. • Conduct content audits to deliver top-tier product presentations. • Optimize search and navigation to improve findability for your categories. • Implement cross-sell and up-sell strategies to increase product visibility. • Use tools like CMS, Salesforce, bolthires Analytics, and other ecommerce platforms to execute strategies effectively. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1-5 years of experience in Ecommerce (preferred). • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. • Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. • Knowledge of PVF categories and manufacturers (preferred but not required). • Analytical approach with attention to detail. • Good interpersonal and multi-functional collaboration skills. • Creative problem solver with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement. • Proficiency in digital tools such as bolthires Office and Adobe Suite.
