The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Strategic Solution Partners (SSP) is a leading taskforce provider in Hospitality, seeking a full-time Director of Finance. This role is responsible for maximizing financial assets, ensuring compliance, and supporting growth through effective financial planning and strategy. Responsibilities • Create a positive, energetic and respectful work environment within the department • Leads through example, professionalism, personal values, and vision • Eager to offer assistance, “pitch-in”, and to be seen as a team player within SSP • Management of the entire Finance Department within SSP • Financial Planning & Strategy • Accounting Oversight & Controls – owns the full accounting cycle • Revenue Cycle & Operations Finance • Monitors Cash Flow & Working Capital Management • Risk, Compliance & Vendor Management • Technology, Reporting & Data – owns the financial tech stack • Business Partnering with CEO to evaluate strategic options & provide executive support • Provides leadership and team development throughout the entire SSP organization Skills • Staffing Industry Experience a must • 10+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience • Proven working experience as a Financial Director • Leadership/department-head level experience is necessary • Direct experience with all aspects of accounting, payroll and consulting • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures • Experience with review and analytics of financial statements • Experience/excellent knowledge of financial reporting functions and the month-end/year end close process • Demonstration of systems/business acumen relative to scope of work • Creative and innovative problem solver • Ability to adapt quickly and perform under high expectations • Ability to communicate effectively and work under pressure • Ability to meet deadlines and embrace ongoing change • Requires excellent organization, time management, interpersonal skills • Must be an ambitious self-starter with a desire to learn • Eligibility to work in the US • Advanced degree in Accounting, CPA or CMA preferred but not necessary Company Overview • Strategic Solution Partners is a hospitality company that offers sales and marketing consulting services.
