The Sales Director – Commercial Furniture is responsible for leading and expanding B2B sales through dealer and distributor relationships within the commercial furniture industry, focusing on long-term revenue development and channel strategy. Responsibilities • Lead, build, and expand strong relationships with commercial furniture dealers, distributors, and channel partners • Leverage existing dealer networks to accelerate market penetration and channel expansion • Serve as the senior relationship owner for key dealer accounts and strategic partners • Provide direction and guidance to support dealer performance and alignment with company sales goals • Identify, onboard, and develop new commercial furniture dealers and distribution partners • Develop and execute channel sales strategies to drive sustainable revenue growth • Support dealers with product positioning, pricing strategy, and project-based selling efforts • Drive pipeline development and oversee account performance across assigned territories or channels • Partner closely with internal sales, marketing, operations, and logistics teams to ensure dealer success • Support dealer training programs, product launches, and go-to-market initiatives • Provide strategic input on promotional planning, showroom strategies, and key industry events • Monitor market trends across workplace, education, hospitality, and healthcare furniture sectors • Collect and analyze dealer and customer feedback to inform sales strategy, product development, and channel optimization • Maintain accurate CRM records related to dealer activity, opportunities, forecasts, and account status Skills • 3–5 years of B2B sales experience in commercial furniture, contract furniture, or a related industry • Proven success working within dealer-based or distributor-driven sales models • Established commercial furniture dealer and/or distributor network with active relationship access • Strong understanding of project-driven sales cycles and specification-based selling environments • Demonstrated ability to lead relationships, influence stakeholders, and drive long-term revenue growth • Willingness to travel for dealer visits, showroom meetings, and industry events (e.g., NeoCon, A&D events) Benefits • Bonus: Performance-based bonus tied to dealer development, account growth, and channel expansion Company Overview • FlexiSpot is an online furniture company.
