The Liability Determination Adjuster at Allstate plays a crucial role in assisting customers with auto insurance claims following accidents. This position involves effective communication with various stakeholders, conducting thorough investigations, negotiating settlements, and ensuring accurate documentation of claims. Responsibilities • Assist customers in navigating the aftermath of auto losses.
• Communicate effectively with policyholders, claimants, agents, witnesses, repair facilities, and contractors. • Conduct thorough investigations and assess claims based on established processes. • Negotiate settlements for insurance claims involving Allstate insureds. • Maintain accurate documentation of claims in the claims system. • Utilize various tools and software for claim processing and evaluation. Requirements • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an emphasis on customer service.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment. • Detail-oriented with a critical thinking mindset. • Proficient in using technology and various software tools for claim processing. • Familiarity with insurance policies and regulations is a plus.
