This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Contractor, Partnerships Manager in the United States. In this role, you will manage and expand a dynamic network of partners, event hosts, and vendors for a major technology-focused conference series. You will be responsible for sourcing, onboarding, and supporting ecosystem partners to enhance event quality and participant experience. The position offers hands-on involvement in relationship management, community building, and event coordination.

You will work closely with internal teams to identify standout events, potential sponsorships, and opportunities to strengthen the event network. This role can be based remotely on the U.S. West Coast, offering flexibility while contributing to a large-scale, high-impact tech community. • Accountabilities • Drive event submissions and engagement from startups, investors, and strategic partners.
• Source, coordinate, and manage relationships with vendors, venues, and other ecosystem partners. • Advise and support event hosts to ensure high-quality execution. • Identify standout events for internal prioritization and marketing amplification. • Communicate potential sponsorship opportunities from partner interactions. • Manage your own pipeline of event hosts, from outreach to acquisition and submission tracking. • Collaborate with internal teams to support event strategy, planning, and execution.
• Requirements • 5+ years of experience in partnerships, event management, marketing, or customer success (event experience required). • Proven ability to build and maintain strong external relationships. • Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills. • Passion for technology, entrepreneurship, and community-building. • Proficiency with tools such as HubSpot, Airtable, Partiful, Canva, and familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude). • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on role with multiple stakeholders.
