About the position
The Procurement Specialist / Buyer at Trideum Corporation is responsible for managing the procurement lifecycle for goods and services, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and maintaining relationships with suppliers. This role involves preparing and issuing RFPs and RFQs, evaluating bids, and ensuring bolthires-effective procurement to support the U.S. Government and Warfighters. The position offers a hybrid work environment with both in-office and remote work options. Responsibilities • Manage the procurement lifecycle for goods and services, including vendor selection, contract negotiations, and purchase order management • Prepare and issue RFPs (Request for Proposals) and RFQs (Request for Quotations), POs, evaluating bids for bolthires, quality, and compliance • Purchase all supplies and materials for operations • Submit purchase orders and forward invoices to accounts payable department • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure bolthires-effective procurement • Maintain accurate procurement records, including contracts, supplier agreements, purchase orders, and pricing schedules • Ensure purchasing process compliance with DoD and DCMA government regulations, and Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) requirements • Prioritize multiple responsibilities and accomplish them simultaneously • Communicate effectively to support the purchasing process and respond to inquiries from accounting, supply chain, and program management.
Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or closely related field • 5 years of direct procurement experience; 8 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree • DoD procurement experience adhering to FAR, DFAR and CPSR government regulations as related to contractor procurement • Prior experience using procurement and accounting software (Deltek Costpoint preferred) • Demonstrated experience with sourcing hardware, software, and services via Computer Hardware Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS) • Experience in DoD sole source, competitive/non-competitive awards and justifications preferred • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills • Ability to work with multiple levels of internal and external customers • US citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance.
