Job Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Virtual School Counselor to join our innovative remote educational team in Ohio. As a Virtual School Counselor, you will play a vital role in providing guidance, counseling, and crisis intervention to students of all grade levels, empowering them to overcome personal and academic challenges and reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Individual and Group Counseling: Deliver personalized counseling services to students dealing with personal, emotional, or behavioral issues, and facilitate engaging group sessions to foster peer relationships and social-emotional learning.
Crisis Intervention: Respond to students in crisis with immediate support, guidance, and intervention, collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to ensure the student's well-being and safety. Academic Support: Assist students with academic planning, goal setting, and overcoming obstacles to academic success, providing expert counseling on academic stress and time management. Qualifications: Degree in School Counseling or a related field Ohio Certification or Licensure as a School Counselor Experience in a School Setting: Preferred experience working with K-12 students, with a strong understanding of school counseling principles and practices.
