Job Description: • Reconcile census and financial data utilized in preparing accounting and funding valuation reports • Draft routine deliverables, including contribution requirements, accounting costs, government forms and other standardized reports • Update assumptions and provisions in third-party software for use in annual valuations • Prepare and/or review routine benefit calculations • Develop and maintain expertise on design and plan administration of assigned clients • Interface with client to handle routine valuation and administration-related tasks • Work towards attaining actuarial credentials • Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by Ascensus Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, math or math related field • Overall GPA 3.0 or higher • Math or Actuarial GPA 3.5 or higher • Passing grade on at least one actuarial exam • Prior experience as an analyst supporting pension plan valuations and/or actuarial consulting teams preferred • Demonstrated expertise with bolthires, particularly Excel applications • Experience with ProVal, exposure to public sector/church plans preferred
