Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Benefit Verification Specialist to join our national team at bolthires. As a Benefit Verification Specialist, you will play a critical role in verifying insurance coverage, performing benefit investigations, and obtaining prior authorization for patients receiving in-home IV therapy. This dynamic and fast-paced role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. Key Responsibilities• Verify insurance coverage for patients receiving in-home IV therapy• Perform benefit investigations to determine coverage and eligibility• Obtain prior authorization for new and existing patients• Process patient prescription orders in a timely manner• Provide excellent customer service to patients, healthcare professionals, and insurance carriers• Stay up-to-date on insurance carrier policies and procedures• Collaborate with Patient Intake Coordinators to resolve coverage and eligibility issuesRequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:Essential Qualifications• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Attention to detail and accuracy• Experience working in bolthires Office, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectivelyPreferred Qualifications• Minimum one year experience working in a healthcare environment• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party vendors• Epic experienceSkills and CompetenciesTo succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies:• Strong communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Excellent customer service skills• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Attention to detail and accuracy• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
