The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Offshore Management Consultant to provide crucial remote support to our onshore consulting team. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic firm, working on significant infrastructure projects in Australia, initially on a part-time basis (approximately 20 hours per week) with a clear pathway to a full-time engagement. We are looking for a self-starter who can effectively align with Australian working hours to ensure seamless collaboration with our local team and clients.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be a critical support function, focused on quality and efficiency in: • Consulting Proposal Development: Drafting, structuring, and refining high-quality consulting proposals and pitch decks for new business opportunities. • Business Assessment & Review Reporting: Preparing detailed and professional reports following client engagements (e.g., capability reviews, operational audits). • Project Governance Support: Developing and maintaining high-standard project documentation, including preparing detailed project status reports, steering committee materials, and risk logs.
• General Consultant Support: Providing ad-hoc research, analysis, and administrative assistance to onshore consultants to ensure smooth project delivery. Your Qualifications & Experience To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate a proven track record in a formal consulting environment: • Formal
Education: Relevant degree in Business, Engineering, Commerce, or a related field. • Consulting Background: Significant, demonstrable experience working for a larger, established (Tier 1/2) consulting firm is highly desirable.
• Expertise: Proven ability to draft high-quality, client-ready consulting documentation (proposals, reports, presentations). • Sector Knowledge (Advantageous): Previous exposure to the Transport, Utilities, or Energy Infrastructure sectors is a strong plus. • Work Ethic: Exceptional organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a professional, proactive attitude.
