This senior leadership role is responsible for shaping narratives, driving earned media, and serving as the strategic anchor for all external communications. Responsibilities • Develop and oversee a global PR strategy that spans North America, Europe, and APAC • Build and nurture direct relationships with top-tier journalists and editors across major business, tech, and financial publications • Drive consistent earned media coverage around product launches, ecosystem developments, research, and partnerships • Create compelling storylines for both crypto-native and mainstream audiences, translating technical concepts into resonant narratives • Lead issues and crisis communications, including playbooks, reactive statements, and founder guidance • Work with external agencies as an extension of your strategy, ensuring messaging and execution stay aligned internally • Prepare leaders for high-profile media moments: talking points, briefing documents, messaging frameworks, and interview coaching Skills • 8+ years of communications or PR leadership experience, ideally in fast-moving tech sectors • Proven ability to secure top-tier media coverage through personal relationships, not just agency support • Strong familiarity with Web3, blockchain infrastructure, exchanges, or Layer 1/L2 ecosystems • Ability to craft narratives that speak to the nuances of crypto, AI, and emerging technology markets • Experience operating in high-stakes environments where crisis management, fast judgment, and clarity are essential • Exceptional writing skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts for different audiences • Comfortable working across multiple time zones and collaborating with distributed teams Benefits • Tokens Company Overview • Metrics Recruitment is a progressive headhunting agency that directly targets candidates suited for its clients' needs.
