About the position

The PMO Engineer will support the PMO team and assist in establishing the methods and tools required to drive consistent and effective project management for Chords' strategic initiatives and projects. They will provide support to project owners by providing tools and methodologies to ensure projects status and results are communicated to executive team(s). The PMO Engineer will foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization by assisting with post-project reviews and ideation sessions.

This position reports to the PMO Manager and is located in downtown Houston, TX. Hybrid work schedule is an option for remote work on Mondays and Fridays. Level and salary commensurate with experience. Responsibilities • Develop, monitor and maintain project schedules and plans using project management software • Facilitate tracking project status, resourcing, deliverables and benefits case • Assist stakeholders across the company with scoping, screening, and evaluating new projects • Provide project management services for critical enterprise projects, including M&A integration • Ensure executive attention and prioritization of projects • Facilitate project communication and reporting • Conduct post project reviews and share continuous improvement insights • Lead change management and communication documentation • Facilitate and support corporate off-site initiative meetings • Adhere to the established governance and processes Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management or a related field • 3 years of experience in Project Management • Proven experience leading and managing multiple cross-functional projects and driving them forward • Ability to influence stakeholders to successfully achieve initiative deliverables • Ability to manage several corporate initiatives simultaneously • Highly skilled communicator (verbal and written) • Ability to work in a fast-paced and fluid environment; flexible with the demands of a growing company • Ability to meet deadlines • Willing to travel to field offices and locations Nice-to-haves • 3 years working knowledge and experience in energy sector, prefer upstream land-based drilling and completions • Relationship builder and team player who is also comfortable working independently • Ability to deliver results at strategic and tactical levels • Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities while maintaining an eye for detail Apply tot his job
