About the position
The Associate Director,
Career Coach at the Tepper School of Business is responsible for providing career coaching and support to graduate students in various business programs. This role involves building relationships with employers, leading collaborative recruiting events, managing student orientation programs, and tracking employment outcomes. The position requires a blend of industry expertise and career counseling skills to empower students in their professional development and job search efforts.
Responsibilities • Provide career coaching and support to MBA and MS students in career exploration and job search preparation. • Create and maintain relationships with employers to recruit talent from the Tepper School of Business. • Lead and facilitate collaborative recruiting events and student treks. • Manage the development and execution of student orientation programs and workshops. • Track and report student employment outcomes, using data to highlight trends and make recommendations. Requirements • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree strongly preferred.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in corporate, higher education, or relevant roles; 5+ years preferred. • Relevant industry experience in management consulting, technology, or analytics is highly preferred. • Ability to work independently and within a matrixed team environment. Nice-to-haves • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of individuals, including students, faculty, and corporate recruiters. • Proven effectiveness in a hybrid work environment.
